The DSCS is different to other events that focus
upon environmental and energy issues. Whilst
these are crucially important, the DSCS focuses
on sustainable strategies from the context of an
urban, built environment
Sustainability is a main feature of the UAE's
strategic plans for the future. It is included in
all of the country's ambitions for the future
including the Dubai World Expo 2020, the
UAE Vision 2021 and the Dubai Plan 2021.

around the MENA region can learn from the

The agenda for the Dubai Sustainable Cities Summit will focus on a number of key themes that reflect Dubai and the UAE's vision and plans.
